Michigan House District 91

How to vote

In Michigan you have three ways to vote, and you do not have to wait until Election Day to use any of them.

STEP 1

Make sure you are registered

Check your registration at the Michigan Voter Information Center. You can register online or by mail through October 19, and in person at your clerk's office right up to 8 PM on Election Day.

STEP 2

Choose how you want to vote

Request an absentee ballot and vote from your kitchen table, vote early in person from October 24 to November 1, or vote at your polling place on November 3.

STEP 3

Return it so it counts

Mail your ballot by October 20 at the latest. After that, hand-deliver it to your clerk's office or an official drop box instead of mailing it.

Check your registration and request a ballot

The Michigan Secretary of State runs the official Voter Information Center. It will tell you whether you are registered, what is on your ballot, where you vote, and where your absentee ballot is.
